A visa allows you to enter India for a specific length of time depending upon the type of visa. The passport or travel document will show the date of your entry and how long you are permitted to stay in the country.

We strongly recommend you to apply not earlier, but also not later. You should get a decision on your visa timely.

Invitation Letter from ICAMMP 2025

If you need a visa, we will be pleased to provide you with an Invitation Letter for your application. Visa applications have to be done by yourself to the nearest Indian embassy or consulate which are going to inform you regarding the requirements and documents that are needed. Please ensure that is sufficient time left for the applications to be completed. The participant is sole responsible to apply and follow up on his Visa application.

In order to provide you with an Invitation Letter, the following requirements have to be fulfilled:

1. Be an author of an accepted paper.
2. Have paid the registration fee for this conference.

Information needed for the invitation letter:

1. Your full name
2. Title (Dr. Prof. Mr. Ms)
3. Organization
4. Full mailing address
5. Telephone and fax number
6. Email address
7. Title of the paper submitted in the conference
8. Copy/proof of the registration fee paid for the conference

Please Note That:

A Letter of Invitation is a proof that your paper submission and registration application are accepted by the conference committee board. It perhaps could help with your visa application. However, it does not guarantee you a visa. The invitation letter will be issued ONLY after you have registered and full payment has been received. Rejection of visa application cannot be the reason to require fee refund.

• The invitation letter will be issued after the successful registration.
• Your name must be listed exactly as it appears on your passport. Any differences between the name on your passport and the name on your invitation letter or other documentation could lead to a delay and/or denial of your visa.
• Please note ICAMMP Conference and the organizing committee are not authorized to assist with the VISA process beyond providing the Notification of Invitation Letter issued by ICAMMP. Should your application be denied, ICAMMP Conference and the organizing committee cannot change the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor will ICAMMP Conference and the organizing committee engage in discussion or correspondence with the Ministry or the Embassy on behalf of the applicant. The registration fee cannot be refunded when the VISA application of individual being denied.
• It takes time for the Embassy to process the VISA application, please register as early as you can to make sure you have enough time for visa processing.

Accommodation

1. The registration fee doesn't include accommodation. The participants should make reservation by themselves. Below are the options like Institute Hostels and some recommended Hotels near the Conference Venue.
2. Conference vehicle from the Airport/Bus Stand/Railway Station will be available to registered participants free of cost on advance travel information.

AGC HOSTELS

1. Limited space is available within the campus in Amritsar Group Of Colleges Hostels. The accommodation for the delegates will be arranged on payment on a first come first serve basis.
2. Rooms will be available on Sharing Basis (two persons in a Room).

HOTELS IN AMRITSAR

Apart from Hostels, You may book rooms in nearby hotels in Amritsar. There exists a number of budgetary as well as premium hotels at Amritsar. Participants can book their accommodation by their own.

1. Please Note that we do NOT endorse any hotel. Guest/Participants are free to Choose any Hotel of their choice.
2. Our committee members may guide / help participants to book the suitable hotels at Amritsar (Only if any participant need our assistance).

Our conference bus / vehicle will pick & drop free of cost (depending on Availability) in any hotel in Amritsar on advance information shared with us. So participants may book their space in any hotel in Amritsar. Following is the detail of hotels available (but not limited to):
