Amritsar Group of Colleges organized a three-day AICTE-approved Faculty Development Program on Universal Human Values from January 3rd to 5th, 2024. 115 faculty members actively participated in the program conducted by the Value Education Cell. Sh. Jatinder Narula, the resource person, led interactive sessions, fostering a dynamic exchange of insights and queries among participants, and observer Mr. Raman Kumar significantly contributed to the program's effectiveness through keen observations.
The workshop's primary objective was to inspire and instil a sense of the importance of accurate understanding among individuals, encouraging the adoption of values and principles in the contemporary world. Participants engaged in discussions focused on discovering oneself and explored their relationships with society, nature, and their families.

Dr. Rajneesh Arora, Managing Director of AGC and Chairman of NCC-IP, highlighted the necessity of value-based education for value-based living. He specified the need for a transformative shift in all stakeholders, including teachers, students, academic institutions, policymakers, parents, and families, to bring a positive societal change. Dr. Gaurav Tejpal, Principal AGC, stated the importance of nurturing Universal Human Values in education for the holistic development of students. He acknowledged the significance of values and ethics in today's scientific age and expressed the institution's commitment to hosting similar programs for faculty and students in the future.
