FACULTY CLUB

The Faculty Club of the college is a formally constituted institutional body established to promote faculty engagement, collegial interaction, and overall well-being from a college-wide perspective. The club has been functioning with institutional support since 22nd December 2009. This initiative marked a significant step towards strengthening faculty-centric activities within the institution.

The Faculty Club operates under a well-defined and structured framework to ensure effective planning and smooth conduct of its activities. All faculty members of the institution are by default members of the Faculty Club. Non-teaching staff interested in joining the club may obtain membership by submitting a prescribed proforma, thereby encouraging wider institutional participation.

At present, the Faculty Club successfully conducts a minimum of one activity every month, with a clear focus on faculty engagement, wellness, and cultural enrichment. The club organizes a variety of cultural, sports, and recreational activities such as Lohri, Baisakhi, Diwali celebrations, Teachers’ Day, indoor and outdoor sports (chess, badminton, cricket, kho-kho), poetry recitation, and recreational outings including movie visits. These activities contribute significantly to fostering teamwork, reducing professional stress, and nurturing a positive work culture within the college.

In order to maintain institutional records and ensure continuity, the files and documentation of all events organized from 2023 to the present have been formally submitted to the Inspection and Accreditation Cell of the college. This systematic record-keeping reflects the club’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and sustained institutional development.
