In today’s world, social responsibility, community engagement, and national development are of paramount importance. The National Service Scheme (NSS) provides a meaningful platform for students to actively participate in nation-building activities while developing their personality, leadership qualities, and sense of social responsibility.
In this regard, we propose the establishment of an NSS Unit in our campus to encourage students to serve society and contribute positively towards community development.
Objectives of NSS Unit
- To inculcate a sense of social responsibility, discipline, and national spirit among students.
- To engage students in community service activities such as cleanliness drives, health awareness, environmental protection, and social outreach programs.
- To develop leadership qualities, teamwork, and organizational skills among students.
- To promote awareness about social issues including sanitation, education, environment, and public health.

The vision of the National Service Scheme (NSS) is to build a socially responsible, disciplined, and compassionate youth force with a spirit of selfless service, national integration, and commitment towards community development and nation-building.

- Health and hygiene awareness programs, blood donation camps, and medical check-up camps.
- Community outreach activities including visits to villages, schools, and adoption of nearby communities.
- Celebration of important national and international days related to social awareness.

NSS Volunteers: Student Members 4-5 from each class (To be selected as per NSS guidelines). A total of 100 student volunteers will be selected every academic year to actively participate in NSS activities.

The establishment of an NSS Unit in the campus will play a significant role in shaping socially responsible citizens and proactive leaders of tomorrow. Through structured activities and community engagement, the NSS Unit will contribute towards the holistic development of students and the betterment of society.
