The Amritsar Group of Colleges organized the 15th edition of the AGC’s Techno Cultural Festival i.e. Prayaas 2020. The Techno-festival comprised of various technical events, creative competitions and talent-oriented cultural performances.
The Chief Guest Mr. Deepak Jindal, Project Manager-SAP along with the hon’ble Adv. Amit Sharma Ji (Chairman & CEO, AGC), Madam Ragini Sharma (Director Finance, AGC), Dr. Rajneesh Arora (Managing Director, AGC), Dr. V. K. Banga (Principal, ACET), Deans & Heads commenced the program with lightening of lamp.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Deepak Jindal said that these festivals provides ingenious students a platform for displaying their technical acumen through over broad spectrum of competitions and events conducted in it. Worthy Principal Dr. V. K. Banga emphasized the importance of these events in the life of students and mentioned that such type of extra-curricular events at inter college level, immensely help the students in refining their hidden talent and skill.
Later on, Mr. Vinod Sharma, Head (Dept of CSE & IT) and incharge ISTE Society read the progress report and informed that this year many new innovative events are added in this Tech. Fest.
Respected Chairman congratulated the students, participants, winners of various events and the organizers for the successful conduct of this Techno-Cultural fest Prayaas 2020. He also emphasized that through this events, students learn how to go beyond the classroom and reach out to a large student community across the country.
The Dean Student Affairs (DSA) Dr. Maninder Singh Gill, delivered the vote of thanks at the end of function. Trophies and certificates were given to winners of various events.
