Duration
B. Pharmacy is of four academic years that comprises of 8 Semesters (6 months each) whereas the B. Pharmacy (LEET) is of three academic years, having 6 semesters.
Eligibility Criteria
For 4-year degree:
The candidates passing the 10+2 examination from a board recognized by Central / State Government through legislation with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the subject i.e. Mathematics/Biotechnology/ Biology shall eligible to apply. Furthermore, the candidate should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together (as per AICTE Guidelines).For a 3-year degree (Lateral Entry):
Candidates having a Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution affiliated to the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training/Punjabi University, Patiala, or any other University or any State Board of Technical Education shall eligible to apply provided that, the must be duly approved by the Pharmacy Council of India/AICTE. Along with this, the candidates should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in the case of the SC/ST category) in the above-mentioned qualifying examination.Mode of Admission
Amritsar Group of Colleges (AGC) possesses its own Scholarship cum Entrance Exam i.e. AGC NEST to initiate its admission process. Through this test, the students get an opportunity to earn up to 1.5 Lac off on the total academic fee.
