ACTIVITIES OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL
- A seminar had been conducted in college on 27th August 2019 by our students, running their own company named “BUDGET ADDAA”. The event had been conducted under the flag ship of Entrepreurship Development Cell of Amritsar Group of colleges successfully, and was truly appreciated by a gathering of more than 180 students and faculty members.
- A seminar on “LET US PRODUCE ENTREPRENEURS” had been organized by AGC Entrepreneurship Development Cell on 23rd September 2019. Mr. HS CHEEMA, Managing director, “CHEEMA BOILERS LIMITED (CBL), Mohali was invited as a guest of Honor & keynote speaker. Mr. Cheema, shared his success story with college students and motivated them for startup.
- An event of Project model display was organized in November 2019, in ECE department. The students designed and Prepared different projects and are fully motivated to convert those into real time applications.
- Entrepreneurship Development Cell-EDC (Amritsar Group of Colleges) organized a seminar on 31st March, 2023 for 2nd and 3rd Year students of B.Tech(CE/ME/ECE/EE). Mr. Sanchit Gupta, Founder & MD UniBrick Industries was the keynote speaker who guided the students on why to choose an entrepreneurship as career path focusing on entrepreneurship, innovation, and education.
- Entrepreneurship development Cell of Amritsar Group of Colleges, Amritsar in association with Swadeshi Jagran Manch celebrated the “World’s Entrepreneurship Day“ in its premises. The aim of celebrating this day is to create awareness for entrepreneurship, trigger creative tendency, motivate to take a choice of entrepreneurship as career and promote innovation and leadership among the students. Sh. Kashmiri Lal ji (Akhil Bhartiya Sangathak, Swadeshi Jagran Manch) was the Chief Guest for the event. Mr.Shrey Mehra (Working on team building for Entrepreneuship) and Mr. Daljeet Kapoor (Founder, Daljeet Kapoor Sales & Co.) was the Keynote Speakers who guided the youngsters and ignited their entrepreneurial spirit.
- Entrepreneurship Development Cell under the aegis of Amritsar Group of Colleges organized a Seminar on 'Entrepreneurship Skills for Beginners' in which Sh. H.S Cheema Ji, Chairman of Cheema Boilers Ltd., Mohali, Punjab was the keynote speaker who spoke about the challenges one faces on entrepreneurial path and how perseverance and resilience help to overcome them. The seminar also emphasized the importance of networking and building valuable connections in the business world.
